Our Discipleship Path

We keep it simple and intentional—three clear steps students can take again and again as they mature in Christ: Engage, Connect, and Grow.

  • Engage - To occupy the attention or efforts—students are invited to engage in worship, community, and service that draws their hearts toward Christ.
  • Connect - Join together to provide access and communication—students connect with peers and leaders through LifeGroups and shared experiences that build lasting faith.
  • Grow - Spiritual growth and growing closer to God—through discipleship, prayer, and Scripture, students take steps to deepen their walk with Jesus.

What We're About

At First Baptist Blowing Rock, we believe students are not only the future of the church but an essential part of God’s work today. Rooted in Jesus’ call to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:19–20), our passion is discipleship—guiding every student to know Jesus personally, build community with His people, and live out their faith boldly at school, at home, and wherever God leads.
